LATIMER DEVELOPMENT
We take our
business and community development seriously in Latimer
and we are dedicated to improving community life and providing
opportunities for business. Working alone or in concert with Franklin County
Development we address quality of life
issues such as affordable housing and creating quality jobs through
new business start-ups, existing business expansion and new business
recruitment.
In the past two years seven new businesses have started here. Now
that's real progress for a community of our size, and it
demonstrates what a great place Latimer is for that startup
business. Existing businesses have also found it worth their
while to invest in expansions to accommodate increased business.
Latimer's new Industrial Park enjoys a
billboard location to Interstate I-35 and is already home to three
businesses. We also
offer a 5 year tax abatement incentive to qualifying companies
and can offer other incentives through
Franklin County Development.
We have buildings available in our downtown area for
commercial/retail and would consider a build-to-suit or leaseback
arrangement for industry.
